The fantastic learning adventures of "Out of This World" would not have been possible without the following people. My sincere thanks goes out to everyone involved.
Panel 1: Shot of the action. We see that in the distance the Station is in view. Max is pointing towards its direction.
MAX
Is that it?
Panel 2: Overhead shot, panning out to make sure we can include the guard ships, as we are transitioning to their POV in the next panel.
MARCANIA
Must be. We're almost there.
Panel 3: Shot from over the shoulder of one of the guards. We see Max's hovercraft ahead of him and also see his display in his cockpit. The display shows that he is attempting to target the hovercraft, but has not yet gotten the proverbial crosshairs locked on.
GUARD
Heh Heh.
Panel 4: Same shot at Panel 3, but crosshairs are locked on! I can place the text on the screen if it is big enough. If not, please write "LOCKED ON" in.
SFX
Beep! Beep! Beep! Beep! Beep! Beep!
Panel 5 (small): Guards reptilian thumb pressing the trigger on the controls.
Panel 6: Side view of the action, see guard ship and hovercraft. We see that a pretty intimidating electrified missile is shooting out of the ship, with plenty of smoke behind it.
Panel 7: POV from in front of the hovercraft, we can see the guard ships and the approaching missile as well. It is leaving a trail of smoke from the electric charge (if we can see that from this POV). Marcania is reacting with urgency to the alerts from her screen. Max is looking behind him. X-35 still has his screen out, trying to navigate. Hope should be looking at what Marcania is looking at as well.
MARCANIA
Nuts! They locked on to us!
Once the necessary changes are made and I feel it's a "tight" script I send it to Bob for his approval. Once the okay is given I e-mail it to Eric and sit back, anxiously waiting at my computer for his illustrated pages to start showing up in my e-mail box (which is my favorite part of working on OOTW).
