OUT OF THIS WORLD SKETCH ART

During the development of the characters and stories of OOTW there are many designs and sketches that Eric creates and we discuss in order to get the right look and feel. With all this great sketch art that Eric has done, I felt it was a shame to simply discard it. So here, for your enjoyment, are many sketches from the creation of the OOTW universe. Many characters and concepts you have never seen before. Many will look familiar, and it might be interesting to see how some of your favorite characters evolved over time. Enjoy!

Sketch Art Title: The brainstorming behind the creation of X-35.
Artist:Eric Erbes
Notes:Eric was able to take some bits and pieces from these sketches and put them together into what we now know and love as X-35! And as you can see...he nailed it right away!

Sketch Art Title: Early versions of Tiglos.
Artist: Eric Erbes
Notes: Tiglos by far was the character that changed the most from initial sketch to the final
version of him. Notice in the first sketches he actually had two horns!

Sketch Art Title: The Transformation of Marcania.
Artist: Eric Erbes
Notes: Marcania didn't change much from Eric's initial designs. Some hair and antennas were added at the end to help her look more lady like.

Sketch Art Title: Creating a villian: Secca Ma.
Artist: Eric Erbes
Notes: Secca became more and more hi-tech as we continued to create him. I always had the thought that his guards would be on all four legs, while he was able to walk like a human. Eric put in some great visuals with Secca's staff and the guards back packs. And at the end, the colors really make Secca look like a force to be reckoned with!
